More control over where AI requests are processed

Enterprise teams can route supported AI requests to European endpoints during building and in published apps. Hosting, storage and direct calls to other providers have separate rules.

EDITORIAL TAKEAWAY

Check supported models and credit usage before enabling European inference. Published apps using Claude through Lovable AI need a supported replacement.

Before you try it

  • Enterprise only; a workspace owner or administrator enables the setting.
  • It covers supported AI requests, not all data. Microsoft processing can include Norway or Switzerland; web tools still process in the US. Direct provider calls are outside its coverage.
  • Some features are unavailable and requests use additional credits. Claude is unavailable through Lovable AI in published apps under this setting.

A small next step

Our suggested way to explore the change.

  1. Identify which requests your app routes through Lovable AI.
  2. Check the supported models and credit impact.
  3. Test the app with the setting enabled before depending on it.
